We're thrilled to announce!
We are Open for School Excursions!
Creating hands-on learning opportunities at Marrocka Emu Farm.
At Marrocka Emu Farm, our goal is to provide enriching, educational, and interactive "hands-on" experiences. We strive to inspire and motivate individuals of all ages to contribute to a more harmonious and optimistic future for both humans and the natural environment.
What we offer
A tour of Marrocka Emu Farm offers a rare chance to explore one of the few emu farms accessible to the public in Australia, where visitors can observe and engage with the emus. We have a unique opportunity available for children in NSW / ACT / VIC schools.
Emus generally lay their eggs between April and September. The chicks often begin to hatch by late July, making it an ideal time to observe them frolicking around.
Students will have the opportunity to engage in an interactive "hands-on" experience with our emu chicks and may even have the chance to witness a hatching!
Visitors have the opportunity to encounter adult emus, engaging in the captivating experience of listening to and observing these splendid birds from a close distance. It's a delightful encounter that people of all ages can appreciate.
School excursions are available for students from Preschool to Year 6
